FCI Exam Syllabus, Books Assistant Grade 3 and 2, JE

Food Corporation of India (FCI) invites application to the post of Junior Engineer, Assistant Grade 3 and Grade 2 from eligible candidates.
Find out the written examination syllabus and best preparation and reference books for the recruitment exam to the post of Asst. Grade 3 and 2, and Junior Engineer (for various disciplines).
The written exam is conducted through papers as per posts.

Preparation Books

FCI Recruitment Exam Books (in English Medium) and in Hindi medium.

Upkar Prakashan, Arihant, Ramesh Publishing House (R Gupta), Kiran Prakashan, and GK Publication publishes books for the FCI exam to the post of Assistant Grade 3, Assistant Grade 2 and Junior Engineer. 

The preparation and reference books are prepared and designed strictly in accordance to exam syllabus and question paper pattern for the posts of FCI AG 3 and AG 2, and of Junior Engineer. 

The books are of latest edition with study material consisting of chapters devoted to topics mentioned in the recruitment exam notification and advertisement.

Exam Syllabus

Candidates applying for FCI recruitment exam (except for the post of Assistant Grade 2 Hindi, Typist Hindi) all have to appear for the Paper 1 exam. 

The Paper 1 consist of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Duration - 90 minutes. The topics of the Paper 1 syllabus consist of Reasoning, Data Analysis, 
English Language, Computer Proficiency, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Current Events, Numerical Ability, and Data Interpretation.

The Paper 2 of the exam is subject specific. It consist of 120 MCQs. 

The Paper 3 is for candidates applying for AG-II (Hindi) and Typist (Hindi). 120 Questions are asked from General English, General Hindi, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Computer Knowledge. It is MCQ-based.

The Paper 4 is for those candidates who are applying for the post of AG-II (Hindi) only. The Paper 4 is descriptive in nature with Translation and Essay Writing. There will be 2 Translations. Candidate has to translate given (English) passage to Hindi and vice versa. And there will be two essay, each in English and Hindi.
