Fair Trade Nicaraguan Coffee

The Brigade offers freshly roasted, fair-trade certified, organic, shade-grown Nicaraguan coffee throughout the year.  The coffee is purchased directly from the worker-owned Manuel Jose Lopez Cooperative in El Porvenir, Nicaragua.  The raw beans are imported to Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC, a local company based in Selinsgrove, PA that roasts the beans on demand, guaranteeing the freshest coffee possible.

Coffee is available in whole bean or ground form.  It is sold in 1 pound bags for $12.0o.  The price is reduced to $9.50 per pound for orders of 25 pounds or more.

Coffee can be purchased at the Bucknell University Office of Civic Engagement (Bertrand Library 119) Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or by contacting Kyle Bray at 570-577-3928 or kwb004@bucknell.edu.  Orders can also be placed using the form below.  All orders can be picked up in the Office of Civic Engagement, delivered anywhere on campus for a small delivery fee (based upon order size), or shipped to off-campus locations (purchaser is responsible for shipping costs).

*For orders that exceed 25 pounds, the coffee is $9.50 per pound.
