For a while now, I’ve been wondering if people really understand all the features and options that Buckeye State Blog makes available to its users. Let’s face it; BSB isn’t exactly the easiest site to figure out. You can do a lot of things on it, but until now you’ve basically had to figure it out for yourself. We haven’t really had much available in the way of help or instructions. That needs to change.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be doing a series of posts called “BSB 101” that will provide instructions and even demonstrations about how to do various things here on the site. We’ll start out with the basics like registering for an account and commenting. Later on, I’ll cover more advanced things like submitting post or events and even how to embed YouTube videos in comments (Yes you can do it, but it can be a little tricky).

As these posts are written, they’ll slowly be stitched together to finally form a comprehensive BSB help page (or pages). The ultimate goal of this to encourage a larger and more diverse group of opinions on this site be familiarizing people with the ways they can speak out and interact on this site.
