School Meals

From September 2014 all pupils in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a free school meal. We have a 3 weekly menu which always offers a vegetarian alternative. School packed lunches or jacket potatoes are also available to buy.

For Key Stage 2 pupils the cost is £2.10 per day, which we request at the beginning of each week.

We are lucky enough to have our school meals prepared and cooked on site.

Alternatively the children may bring a packed lunch from home. As we are part of the Healthy Schools Initiative we would like to recommend that your child’s lunch box contains a healthy lunch with at least one piece of fruit.

Fruit is provided, free of charge, for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children at morning break time.

A named water bottle is provided, when children start at the school, to encourage your children to sip

water throughout the day. Sugary drinks have a harmful effect on children’s teeth and we ask that parents consider this.
