Burston and Tivetshall Partnership Schools have had a vision for the last three years "to be an excellent provider of education and to expand our partnership". We have been working hard as a Governing body to ensure this vision happens and provides the schools with a bright and secure future.
We want to celebrate and protect the individual identities of the schools as well as continue and enhance their contributions to their local communities.
As a Governing body we have been looking at a number of avenues over the past few years including collaboration, partnership and federation models.
However, the education landscape is changing and the Government has declared that it wants all schools to become academies by the end of its current term of office. With this in mind Governors have been actively working on this route.
We are too small as a federation to become our own academy and so we are looking at partners to work with us. (Recommended minimum of 250 pupils).
As part of the process we must consult with all stakeholders and this process was started with the staff and parent / carer meetings held before the February half term. As promised at those meetings we will try to keep you as informed as possible and try to answer as many questions as we can.
If you have any questions please send an email to email@example.com or contact the governors via the school offices.
We have set up this site to help keep the information in one place, where you can read questions already raised, and to give us a place to share new information with you, please use the links at the side to find this information.
