Sort messages by keyword using Gmail search

You might be used to sortingmessages in your Inbox, listing them by sender, for example, or the date they're received. In Gmail, you can do essentially the same thing by searching for messages. Searching may sound like more work, but it can actually be easier and a lot more powerful than sorting, once you learn a few tricks!

Google Apps User Survey

posted Jun 1, 2011, 10:22 AM by amy truchon

As a district we are moving to Google to manage our e-mail services instead of the GroupWise program we are currently using.   You will be using the Gmail web based mail client to access your e-mail using your current email address.  Tech Support and Tech Integration will help to make this transition happen slowly, user by user, until we have moved all employees of the Burlington School District out of GroupWise and into Gmail by mid-December 2011.

Using Google Apps for mail will provide convenient access to other Google tools such as Calendar ,Docs and Sites.  This transition will impact existing Google users if you have used your email address to create a Google account.   We are working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible in order to protect any Docs, Sites, etc you have created using your address.   This transition will NOT affect your personal Gmail account.

In order to collect information on how you are currently using Google with your address, we need ALL employees to take the very brief survey below:

If you cannot get to the survey from the link above, please copy and paste the URL into a browser.

Please take a minute or two to complete this by Friday June 3rd as we will start processing the results on that date.
We appreciate your time and thank you in advance for taking our survey.
