This website is designed to help students and parents better understand the goals and expectations of the Hunt Choral program.  The goals of both the sixth and seventh/eighth grade choruses are to introduce and encourage the fundamentals of good singing.  This includes correct posture, tone production, articulation and intonation.  These basics, along with general musicianship skills, are presented in a fun and creative environment.

All students are responsible for coming to rehearsals on time with a pencil, music and music folder.

Concerts are the culminating experiences for our young musicians and are very rewarding experiences for us all.  Dates for our concerts are posted on the chorus webpage calendar.  Hunt Choruses traditionally have two evening concerts every year and we will performing a joint concert with the Edmund’s Middle School and BHS.  Concert dates will appear in the Hunt monthly newsletter, as well as in a concert information letter, which I send home approximately one week before every performance.  Students are required to attend these programs.  The performances will be graded as a playing examination.  Additional concerts may occur in which attendance is required.
