Welcome to the Investment Management Committee
The Investment Management Committee was created by the Board of Directors of the BSC in Fall 2010 when we terminated our relationship with an asset management firm. The mission of the Investment Management Committee is to:
There are five voting members:
- Set investment policies and guidelines to be reviewed and approved by the Board
- Oversee the investment of funds
- To monitor and evaluate whether the BSC's investment accounts are meeting our organizational goals
- Report to the Capital & Finance Committee (CFCom) to keep the Board informed.
There are five voting members:
- The Executive Director
- Two alumni selected by Board
- A member of CFCom selected by the Board
- The Vice President of Capital & Finance (VPCF), who is a voting member.
In addition, the committee is supported by the Finance & Accounting Manager and the Development Director, who are non-voting members. The committee meets quarterly: in April, July, October and January.
