JOB DESCRIPTION: This person is responsible for overseeing the packing of produce for the houses in Central Food & Supplies, the preparation of orders for the houses, and supervising your workshift assistants. The Produce Coordinator packs produce, dried fruit, and seeds & nuts orders and maintains inventory control of these items.

REQUIREMENTS: Produce Coordinators must be well-organized, responsible and reliable. Have strong supervisory and training skills, and be able to work well with other people in a team situation. Ability to count accurately and keep accurate records. Knowledge of produce varieties and storage/packing requirements. Have good judgment and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Some knowledge of BSC food service and/or other food distribution systems. Good oral and written communication skills. 

REQUIREMENTS:  You must be available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 8 am-12 pm.  Must be a BSC member and meet student eligibility guidelines to hold this position. 

HOURS/PAY: This position averages 12 hours/week, compensated with a rent credit stipend for 7 hrs/week and fulfilling your five-hours/week workshift requirement. Apartment dwellers will receive an additional rent credit stipend for the five workshift hours as this job does not replace the workshift requirement at the apartments. This position lasts indefinitely, although you would not work during the summer (as CFS operates only during Fall & Spring Semesters). If for whatever reason, this job begins mid-semester, the compensation will be pro-rated.
