JOB DESCRIPTION: The CFS Administrative Assistant coordinates the flow of accounting paperwork and other relevant data between CFS and other departments, namely, Accounting and Purchasing. Additionally, the CFS Administrative Assistant also provides office coverage, performs miscellaneous clerical tasks such as data entry, as necessary, and helps ensure there is a clean, safe working environment in the CFS office/warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be reliable and punctual. Some bookkeeping, office work, or computer experience is recommended. Good public contact skills and must be able to work well with others. Ability to type 60 wpm. Ability to learn detailed information procedures quickly and accurately. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email, and database. Ability to drive a truck: valid driver's license; good driving record. Work is performed in a normal office environment and requires the ability to operate a computer keyboard, 10-key calculator, and engage in repetitive motions.
HOURS/PAY: This is a 10-hour/week position (8 in summer), compensated with a rent credit at workshift rate for 5 hours/week ($22/hr) and fulfilling your five-hours/week workshift requirement. Apartment residents will receive an additional rent credit stipend for the five workshift hours, as this job does not replace the workshift requirement in this instance. If for whatever reason this job begins mid-semester, the stipend will be prorated. Please note this position is an 8-hour/week position in the summers.
