JOB DESCRIPTION: This person works Thursdays afternoons to supervise packing and delivery of non-perishable goods to the houses. This includes monitoring the deliveries received in CK from vendors, taking inventory twice per semester, checking delivery receipts against inventory, supervising packing and delivery crews, delivering non-perishable orders to the houses, taking care of all of the relevant paperwork involved, and any other relevant duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Assistant Warehouse Supervisor. 

REQUIREMENTS: You must be able to work at least 7 scheduled hours on Thursday afternoons (availability noon-7pm is preferred). You have to be able to drive a truck (automatic), and have a valid drivers’ license and a good driving record. You have to be able to lift lots of boxes weighing 50 lbs and occasionally more on a regular & continuous basis. You need to be well organized, responsible, and reliable – many a dinner depends on you!! You have to know how to count accurately and keep good records, and you ought to know something about packing a truck (like not piling heavy boxes on top of fragile items.). Common sense and good judgment are very helpful. Previous experience supervising a staff (i.e. several people at once) is preferred.  
You may not be a member of the Board of Directors and hold a central level job.  You cannot hold a compensated house-level position and this position concurrently. You must be a current BSC member and meet student eligibility guidelines to hold this position. 

This is a 7-hour/week position, compensated with a rent credit at $14.00/hour for 2 hours/week and fulfilling your five-hours/week workshift requirement. Apartment residents will receive an additional rent credit stipend for the five workshift hours (at $14.00/hour), as this job does not replace the workshift requirement in this instance. If for whatever reason this job begins mid-semester, the stipend will be prorated. This position starts in Fall and lasts indefinitely, although you would not work during the summer (as CFS operates only during Fall & Spring Semesters). This job is eligible for work-study compensation.
