JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Proteins Coordinator packs, prepares and inventory meat, cheese, lunch meat, tofu, and frozen food orders.  They are assisted by a workshift crew, which they supervise. 

REQUIREMENTS:  Applicants must be well organized, responsible, reliable and able to work well with people in a team situation. Well organized, reliable, responsible, and insistent on cleanliness. Ability to weigh and count accurately and keep accurate records. Must have strong supervisory and training skills. Willingness to supervise and train others. Ability to use and clean sharp instruments safely. Ability and willingness to learn basic butchering skills, and to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.  Willingness to work with cold and frozen items, as well as with raw meat. Current BSC member and meet student eligibility guidelines to hold this position.

HOURS/PAY:   This is a 12-hour/week position, compensated with a rent credit at $16.00/hour for 7 hours/week and fulfilling your five-hours/week workshift requirement.  Apartment residents will receive an additional rent credit stipend for the five workshift hours (at $16.00/hour), as this job does not replace the workshift requirement in this instance.  If for whatever reason this job begins mid-semester, the stipend will be prorated. This position starts in Fall and lasts indefinitely, although you would not work during the summer (as CFS operates only during Fall & Spring Semesters). This job is eligible for work-study compensation.
