The Capital and Finance Committee (CFCom) evaluates and modifies the policies and procedures pertaining to all BSC finances and is responsible for protecting, investing in, and expanding the assets of the organization in order to contribute to the organization’s long-term sustainability.
As the financial committee of the BSC Board, this committee has regular annual responsibilities related to BSC finances and assets. CFCom reviews on an annual basis:
Board Approved Projects, our annual commitment to physical improvements and maintenance on our units and property.
Insurance Review, assessing the type of insurance we'd like to get, continue, or reevaluate, and appropriate rates for them.
Bond Compliance Review, ensuring we are in compliance with our existing Bond agreements with Wells Fargo
Annual Budgeting Process, evaluating and assessing the BSC predicted total Revenue and Expenses for the following academic year (Summer-Spring) and working to set member rates at.
