2017 Athletic Physical Event Information

The Bryan ISD Sports Medicine Department encourages all student athletes to obtain their pre-participation physical exam from their primary care physician (PCP).  Because the student's PCP has a working knowledge of his or her medical history, we believe this is the best person to perform the exam.

Because we understand that there are circumstances which may prevent this, the Bryan ISD Sports Medicine Department will be offering low cost athletic physicals and voluntary ECG screening.  These events will take place at the Rudder High School filedhouse on Wednesday April 19, 2017 and at the Bryan High School fieldhouse on Wednesday May 3, 2017.  Doors will open at 4:00 PM and will close at 5:30 PM.  Anyone who has signed in by 5:30 PM will have the opportunity to get their physical for the 2017-2018 school year.

Who We Play For will be onsite to offer ECG screenings at both events.  ECG Screening is voluntary and is only recommended once for middle school participation and once for high school participation.  Students who wish to take advantage of this opportunity must complete a parental consent form.  This form is available for download at the bottom of this page.  If you plan to take advantage of the opportunity for ECG screening, please complete the consent form and return it to your high school athletic training room or middle school coach ahead of the event so that we can get a preliminary count of those interested.
