Rudder Volleyball continues Academic Excellence!

Rudder High Volleyball has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for the 9th consecutive year for Academic Excellence. The award requires the Varsity team to have a minimum of a 3.3 overall average. Rudder Volleyball had a outstanding 3.951 team grade point average for the 2016-2017 school year. 

Rudder Volleyball had one of the top 25 overall GPA's of the 277 high schools recognized in the USA. There were 32 High School teams recognized in Texas for this prestigious award.

In addition, Rudder High Volleyball was one of only 5 teams in Texas to meet their Dig Pink fundraising goal by raising $1200 to help in breast cancer research and to also be named to the AVCA Team Academic Award.

The Rudder Volleyball program works hard to promote excellence in the classroom and on the court with tremendous support from the Rudder staff and administration.
