Two weeks ago I went to work doing my interview with my mentor. During the interview I discovered many things about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that I had no idea until I talked to Ms. Bishop. She taught me all about the different ways PTSD can present itself in people and what to look for when trying to diagnose people with PTSD. We spent some time talking about my father who was a Navy Seal and what different characteristics he displays for PTSD. I always thought that he was fine but apparently he shows suddle signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. These characteristics including staying away from crowds, sitting against walls, and having bad dreams.
