What is Student Council?

Student Activities Council (SAC) is an enthusiastic group of student leaders meeting every Thursday morning before school to plan exciting events and community projects such as the following:

  • September:  Spirit Week  ; Homecoming Parade  ; Homecoming Dance
  • October:   Memberships Due
  • November:   Jostens Renaissance Leadership Workshop at Carroll University & Food Drive for local charity
  • December:  Winter Ball 12/10/2016, Charity project
  • February:  Sadie Hawkins Charity Auction & Dance
  • March:  Junior Blood Drive with Blood Center of Southeastern Wisconsin
  • April:  Environmental/Community Project
  • May:  Staff Appreciation Week, New Council Applications/Officer Elections
  • June:  Senior Breakfast, Locker Clean-out & collection of gently used supplies; Vote for Homecoming Theme, Select Parade Marshalls

SAC provides opportunities to learn leadership skills, protocol for business meetings, chairing a committee, and working with peers, teachers, and community leaders. Colleges and employers recognize participation in Student council as a positive activity which builds personal confidence and organizational skills.
