Miss D. Brown

I am the Library Media Specialist in the MHS LRC. I earned my MLIS in Library and Information Science at UWM and a BA in Musical Theatre from Mount Holyoke College. Prior to coming to Brown Deer, I worked at the Milwaukee Public Library. I was a 2019-21 American Library Association (ALA) Emerging Leader. My favorite genres are YA Fiction and Fantasy, but I read an awful lot of short stories/essay collections too. I am also a professional photographer.

At BDMHS I am the advisor for the MS & HS Forensics Teams, MS Yearbook, and the MHS Creative Journal.
