Course Models: Design Tips and Examples

Designing your online course content is much like developing a syllabus for a new course. What are your course objectives? How will the course be designed and organized to best enable student learning? How will students access material, and what resources will you provide to engage individual learning? These are a few of the questions we ask before we begin to add content to any course tool.

Below you'll find a few resources developed by expert instructional technologists and designers to help you build and design your course content, specifically in the Canvas Course system. However, some of the design tips are universal and can be leveraged in any teaching system.
