I am a Tamarkin Assistant Professor and NSF Postdoctoral fellow at Brown University. In the Fall of 2019, I will be starting a tenure-track position at Haverford College.

My research interests include hyperbolic geometry (surfaces and 3-manifolds), geometric group theory, and Teichmuller theory. I am especially interested in relationships between combinatorics and geometry: using combinatorial tools to probe the geometry of a space, and conversely, using geometric methods to answer purely combinatorial/topological/algebraic questions.

Research statement, CV, and references available upon emailed request.

I strongly believe in making the mathematics community open and inclusive for racial, gender, sexual minorities and other traditionally underrepresented mathematicians. I will be serving on the departmental diversity and inclusion committee for the academic year of 2017-2018.
