Bio: John Pike is an assistant professor at Bridgewater State University. Before that he was a postdoc in the probability group at Cornell, and before that he was at the University of Southern California where he obtained his PhD working with Jason Fulman.
John's past work has focused primarily on Markov chain mixing and Stein's method for distributional approximation, but he is broadly interested in probability theory and its applications. He especially enjoys working on projects with a combinatorial or algebraic flavor and is always excited to learn about new problems and techniques.
