This user forum will be an opportunity for Brown community members interested in applying Google Applications for teaching and learning or for academic research to meet on a regular basis for sharing, brainstorming and troubleshooting.

The goal is to provide support for users who have familiarity with and comfort level using Google Applications but seek additional input and feedback regarding implementation and analysis. The forum will provide some additional training because the discussions will be informative to the degree that attendees are likely to be exposed to new techniques and perhaps discover new uses of GAE.

This interdisciplinary forum will be a place and time for faculty to share with each other the projects they are working on and solicit feedback from peers and advice from academic technologists. A monthly meeting will occur (1 hour) during which an academic technologist will do a brief presentation to open the meeting, highlighting a tool or application. The remainder of the meeting will then be used to discuss the application or tool or allow an open discussion based on related issues brought to the meeting by attendees.

The forum will be open to all Brown community members, however our key audience is faculty.
