Updating your myBrown profile to automatically subscribe to the Inman Page Black Alumni Council email list:
Go to the Alumni & Friends website - https://alumni-friends.brown.edu/
Click myBrown Login
3. Click the View/Edit My Profile button.
4. Update your identity and demographic information by clicking on Personal from the menu options.
5. Scroll down the page until you find the ADD or REMOVE buttons to the relevant areas you want to update. It is essential to review your Ethnicity(ies) preference to ensure you are receiving communications from the community(ies) you identify with. We recommend you make your information Visible In Directory to allow students and other alumni to find you based on shared identities and interests.
Note: If you identify as multiracial, please include specific race/ethnicity information to ensure you will be affiliated with each applicable affinity group community. If you only indicate multiracial, you will NOT be automatically affiliated with any specific affinity group. If you have questions regarding this guidance, please email alumni_belonging@brown.edu

Suppose you choose not to include your race/ethnicity or other identities in myBrown. In that case, you can still receive news from your communities of interest, including IPC, by subscribing to the appropriate newsletters using the following instructions.
1. From your myBrown home page, click MANAGE MY COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES.
2. Click Add More Subscriptions (you can also spend time editing your subscriptions)
4. Search for Inman Page Black Alumni Council. Click the red check mark to add a subscription.
Note: The icon will appear grey with a plus sign if you are already subscribed.
