Our mission
Representing the New Jersey Counties of:
The Brown Club of New Jersey works to create a strong sense of community for alumni of all classes and current student families in our area. Each year, we offer a full roster of fun, inclusive, and enriching activities to help our members build relationships with each other and remain connected to the University and its initiatives. These include:
Socials: cocktail parties, happy hours, family events
Community Service: food banks, soup kitchens and more
Cultural and Adventure Events: museum tours, book talks, kayaking and hiking among others
Educational Enrichment: lectures and panels by Brown faculty and distinguished alumni
Professional Programs: networking and career development
Want to be a Member?
You already are! Anybody who attended Brown is a member. You don’t need to pay for your membership you just have to make sure to keep your personal myBrown profile contact information up-to-date on the Brown Alumni & Friends website and save our email to your white list. However, if you want to support the club in a more meaningful way, please consider becoming a paid member! We also welcome current student families to join.
Our club serves over 3,000 members in ten New Jersey counties: Bergen, Burlington, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union & Warren. It is governed by a volunteer Executive Board and is proudly affiliated with the Brown Alumni Association.
