Join us Saturday, October 27th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, in the school cafeteria, as we come together to peel, chop, and bag fresh vegetables to benefit the Needham Food Pantry and the Women’s Lunch Place for the 18th Annual Pare and Share. Each year the success of this outreach program is measured by our COMMUNITY coming together and donating an enormous amount of prepared fresh vegetables.

1) Just 10 minutes makes a big difference! Come in between your sporting events and other BUSY weekend activities with your own bags of veggies, cutting boards, and knives. See details below for the appropriate veggies to bring.

2) We need more volunteers! The success of our event, is largely due to the fabulous volunteers that help us each year. 30 minutes of your time is all we need. Go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4dafab2ea2fa7-2018 to volunteer.

3) If you can’t come on Saturday, fill up a bag or two and donate veggies a couple days before the event. Bins will be located at the front of the school, the second grade door, and the parking lot breezeway. To ensure a variety of produce we suggest the following donations by grade:

Kindergarten: green beans
Grade 1: bell peppers (any color)
Grade 2: zucchini
Grade 3: summer squash
Grade 4: carrots
Grade 5: cauliflower

Thanks in advance for your support! See this flyer for more information. Any questions, please email pareshare@broadmeadowptc.org.
