Broadmeadow International Festival Thursday, January 31st 6:00 – 7:30pm at Broadmeadow Performance Center

In just one night you and your family can explore festivities from different continents, watch amazing Israeli, Sri Lankan and Chinese dance performances, and eat delicious food, while engaging in fun activities. These are just a few of the highlights taking place at Broadmeadow’s International Festival, Thursday, January 31st from 6:00-7:30pm, in the Broadmeadow performance center.

The International Festival is just couple of weeks away. Please join the Broadmeadow community and celebrate our school’s cultural diversity with this amazing event.

6.30 PM: Israeli Performances
6:45 PM: Sri Lankan Danc
6.50 PM: Traditional Chinese dance with special Yo-Yo performanc
7:00 PM: Scottish Performance

Fun activity stations based around festivities from different continents:
· Welcome Station with Origin Map
· Colombia Festival of the Flowers ‘Feria de las Flores’
· Matariki Festival in New Zealand
· Carnevale Venice Masks
· Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling in England
· Gorillas galore in Rwanda
· Pingxi Lantern Festival in Taiwan
· Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

Food: We ask everyone to please consider bringing a dish to share. This could be a dish that represents your background (dumplings, biriyani, sushi, lasagna, enchiladas, potato latkes, goulash, etc.), or even as simple as your family's favorite quick and easy weeknight meal (pizza, chili, mac and cheese, takeout from your favorite local restaurant, etc.). While bringing a dish is not required in order to attend this event, we greatly appreciate anything you can contribute to the meal - even something as simple as some fresh fruit.
