Help the Heart and Sole Group collect dontations for the Southwest Michgian Humane Society. Drop off boxes will be located at RMS from May 2nd to May 6th.
Fall Sports Sign-Up Sheets for RMS and BHS are outside the office. Students entering seventh and eighth grade in the fall may sign up for RMS sports. Students entering ninth grade in the fall may sign up for BHS sports. Please see the office for a sports physical form.

Reed Middle School believes in creating a nurturing environment, which guides student growth towards independence and responsibility. It is our goal to promote positive behaviors by teaching students our building expectations and also rewarding students for exhibiting positive behaviors.
Bringing Excellence to Educational Settings is important to both our staff and faculty. With that philosophy in mind, we have decided to offer a South Bend Cubs Baseball Game field trip for students who make quality choices from April 11 - May 26.
Students will receive the positive South Bend Cubs reward based on the following criteria:
Who: 7th and 8th Graders
What: South Bend Cubs Baseball Game
When: Thursday, May 26th
Time: Regular School Day - bus leaves at 9:00 am and returns by 2:15 pm
Where: Four Winds Stadium, South Bend, IN
How: We will be traveling by school bus
Cost: The cost of the ticket will be $5. A meal of hot dog and soda will be provided. All
money is due by April 29th.

Everything on display at the book fair is only $5!
Reed Middle School is sponsoring a $5 Book Fair, making an opportunity for your family to invest in good quality books for less. This a great time to stock up for future gift-giving.
Please stop by the book fair during parent teacher conference or send money with your child. A $20 bill will purchase 4 books.
Classroom Wishlists will also be available for you to purchase books requested by teachers for use in their classrooms.
Though all books on display at the book fair will be $5, you can also shop from the full catalog online at "E-Fair" by placing your order at https://n3767.myubam.com/263906 between May 23 and April 3, 2016.
All purchases earn free books for the school.
In celebration of Career Awareness Week, students are invited to participate in dress up days. Dress up days include:

Friday, 3/18: School Spirit- The journey begins with the first steps... right here, right now! Go Bees!
7th and 8th Grade Track Sign-Ups are underway! The sign-up sheet is located outside of the office for students to sign up. For schedule or questions, students can see Mrs. Wells. If a physical is needed, physical forms are available in the office. First practice is March 29th!
The Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire is a celebration of invention and creativity for all ages. We're inviting makers (individuals, groups, industries and schools) to present their projects that explore DIY (do-it-yourself) innovation, reveal their process and show how materials are pushed to their limits. Whether it's scientific exploration, woodworking, robotics, beekeeping or e-textiles, this event will explore it all!
When: June 4, 2016 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
