It is that time of year again. Please bring four pictures of yourself ranging from newborn through middle school to Mrs. High for the Senior Slideshow.

Attention Juniors:
Your super cool Little Mermaid Winterfest t-shirts have arrived and are in Mrs. Lundin's room. 

If you have not paid, you need to pay your $12 ASAP.
Theme day is Thursday!

Science Olympiad Team Members:
We will be having mandatory practices on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings this week from 7:20-7:50 AM. Please let Mrs. Kreitner know ASAP if you cannot make a meeting due to another club.

Mock Rock & Dodgeball Participants:
Your participation forms are due by Thursday at 3 PM in Mr. Holok's room.

Cross Country summer camp registration forms are available in the Office.

Deposit and form need to be mailed by March 1.

Whirlpool is now offering two High School Internship Programs for top high school students who are interested in the areas of engineering, finance/accounting, marketing, supply chain, design, procurement, IT, human resources, sales, communications, and customer service.

Both programs run for 8 weeks starting June 18-August 10. To qualify for either program, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.50 or above
  • Proven track record of excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities, and work experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be 16 years of age at the start of the program
  • Must have completed their Junior or Senior High School year.
  • Be willing and able to work in the US
  • Must provide their own transportation
  • Pass a drug test
If you are interested in first program (Engineering Services Internship) or the second (Young Future Leaders Program), see Mrs. Haskins as soon as possible. Whirlpool would like to come in to meet with interested students as a group to discuss the program.

The Office needs your selfies! 

We are updating our bulletin boards outside the Office doors. Please submit school appropriate selfies to tbrown2@bridgmanschools.com along with a hashtag that describes you using our theme "Believe in Your #selfie". 

Come up with positive and unique hashtags! It can be as simple as a word or a short phrase.

Are you a dependent of an MEA member or retired MEA member? If so, check out this scholarship on Mrs. Haskins's Scholarship page.

Students interested in the Professional Health Careers Academy (PHCA) for the 2018-19 school year should click on this link for the application. See Mrs. McGee with questions, or for a hard copy of the application. Students need to return the completed application to Mrs. Haskins or Mrs. McGee by 2/27.

The Musical Needs Your Help!
Mrs. Ammerman is currently looking for those students who are interested in joining the crew for the Spring Musical. 

Do you like moving things? Join the crew!
Do you like working with hair & make-up? Join the crew!
Do you want to learn about lights & sound? Join the crew!

Interest forms are available in the Office or on the Choir room door. All forms are due back to Mrs. Ammerman no later than February 16. Please see Mrs. Ammerman if you have any questions.

The Bridgman Glee Club will begin rehearsals again on Tuesday, February 6 from 3:30-5:00 PM in the RMS Music Room. Glee Club is open to all BHS students. Please see Mrs. Ammerman with any questions.

CMU's Full-ride Lem Tucker Scholarship
Students who dream of a career in the media and communication fields can make that dream a reality with a full-ride scholarship to Central Michigan University that could be worth more than $90,000!

Students qualifying for consideration for the Lem Tucker Scholarship have a:
  • 3.0 high school GPA, and
  • 940 SAT (18 ACT), and 
  • Major in a media-related field such as journalism, broadcasting, or public relations.
