About the Club

Club Description

The purpose of Yiddish Club is to provide opportunities for Brandeis students to celebrate the Yiddish language and Ashkenazic culture. The club  helps students to further their knowledge of the Yiddish language and provides opportunities to speak the language. The club is also dedicated to engaging with Yiddish culture through meetings, film screenings, singing parties, field trips, and campus-wide events, as well as interactions with the Yiddish speaking community in Boston and New York.

General Information

Club Status: This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
