We, the undergraduate students of Brandeis University, in order to foster an appreciation for the importance of legal studies and to develop skills of legal writing and research create an undergraduate Law Journal. The Law Journal will supply a venue for Brandeis community members to express and share their ideas. As students engaged with and dedicated to the Brandeis community, we take on an educating role; we promote an understanding of the Rule of Law and we raise students’ awareness with regard to their rights under the Student Union Constitution and our Rights and Responsibilities Handbook. We teach undergraduate students to follow the Bluebook citation style and provide a framework to sharpen critical thinking and analysis. We encourage original theses and unique ideas and invest in the creation of relationships among undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, and professors. We hereby establish our Constitution for the Brandeis University Law Journal.
:This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
