What is Stress?
Stress is anything that poses a challenge or threat to our well-being. There is stress that is good for you and others that are bad. The good stress, such as aiming high (for a higher position at work or getting better at a sport), keeps us from getting bored. Stress becomes bad when it undermines you both mentally and physically. If you're unsure what stress is or the many ways stress can show itself, take a look at our signs and symptoms page.
