Google Certified Teacher

Designed for everyone in our District using Google tools, yes, that's everyone.  Level 1 status indicates that an individual is able to successfully implement Google Apps for productivity, teaching and learning.

Training is online through Google.


Google Certified Educator-Level 1


Google Certified Educator-Level 2


Although this certification can be obtained individually, BPS will support a study group of participants interested in obtaining their certification.  This study group will meet through an online community to share ideas, practices, and insights as they work through the practice modules in preparation for the certification exams.  


Participants will be reimbursed for certification tests if successful. Participants can also earn one in-district professional growth credit per course.

Cultural Sensitivity


This workshop will increase awareness of the role that culture plays in the classroom. Participants will reflect on their own cultural sensitivity strengths and limitations, as well as ways that increased cultural sensitivity can enhance teaching and communicating.

Learn about a new resource for your Social Studies curriculum. A website which contains Batavia Sanbourne 1908 maps and highlights key historical Batavia locations will soon be available. We’ll explore the maps and locations to unlock the potential to engage students at all levels.
