Athletic Registration 2012

ATHLETE PARTICIPATION INFORMATION FOR 2012-13

 

TO ALL PARENTS AND STUDENT ATHLETES:

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

Please visit www.athletics2000.com/batavia for all the required documents in order to participate in athletics at BHS during the 2012-13 school year.  Please print off the documents and return the completed forms to the athletic office starting Monday, July 30, 2012.  You can drop them off or mail them to 1201 Main St., Batavia, IL 60510 Attn.  Athletics.  The first day of all fall sports is August 8.  In order to assure your athlete is on a roster/tryout list by August 8 please have all the documents completed and into the athletic office by August 6.  An athlete CANNOT participate without all documentation filled out and turned into the athletic office. 

 

PHYSICALS:

Freshman are not required to have a separate sports physical in order to participate.  The regular school physical that is required to enroll in high school satisfies this requirement.  This is the only document that does not need to be turned in by Freshman only.  All other students, Sophomores through Seniors, must have a current physical on file in order to participate. A physical is good for 13 months, any physical older than 395 days is invalid and will not be accepted.  (This is a new IHSA by-law adopted this year)

 

PARTICIPATION FEE:

A participation fee of $154 per sport is required of all athletes.  This can be paid on-line through the parent portal of power school. The parent portal to pay fees will be open on August 1, 2012.  If your son or daughter is joining a team that does not require tryouts then the fee can be paid starting August 1, 2012.  If your son or daughter is joining a team that does require a tryout process then the fee will not need to be paid until the final teams are posted.  Checks will also be accepted and can be included with the other required documents.  Please make checks out to Batavia High School.
