PHONE EXTENSIONS - Google Chrome Bookmark

Staff members who use their district account to login to the Google Chrome web browser (which is different than simply logging into Google itself) can access a district phone extension spreadsheet under the "BPSD" bookmark group that will appear in the browser.

Using the ESI-DEX directory on each phone

You can also use the directory system built into each district handset:
  • Press the ESI-DEX key on the right side just below the screen.
  • For an extension at the site where the handset is located:
    • Press the down key below the screen, which the screen will label as the STA (station) key.
    • Then either:
      • Press the up or down keys to the left of the ESI-DEX button to scroll through the listings or...
      • Use the number keys to dial the first three letters of the person's name you are searching for.
    • When you find the entry you need, press the ESI-DEX key, which is labeled DIAL on the screen.
  • For an extension at a different site:
    • Press the up key below the screen, which the screen will label as the LOC (location) key.
    • Press the up or down keys to scroll through the sites until you find the site you need.
    • When you find the site you need, press the ESI-DEX key, which the screen will label as NEXT.
    • Then either:
      • Press the up or down keys to the left of the ESI-DEX button to scroll through the listings or...
      • Use the number keys to dial the first three letters of the person's name you are searching for.
    • When you find the entry you need, press the ESI-DEX key, which is labeled DIAL on the screen.
