SchoolMessenger Communicate

SchoolMessenger is used by the school sites and the districts to broadcast messages to parents and/or staff members with contact information in the PowerSchool Student Information System.

Emergency messages can be broadcast as email, SMS texts, and voice phone calls for inclement weather closings and other alerts. Routine messages for such topics as attendance can be broadcast as emails.

The principal at each site and usually a designated secretary are given SchoolMessenger accounts. The Executive Director of Technology & Communications handles districtwide SchoolMessenger broadcasts and site-specific emergency messages.

Authorized district users can access support for the product:
The most up-to-date manuals can be obtained by logging into SchoolMessenger and clicking the Help link at the upper right.
