BHS art students win honors at Indian Summer festival

Bartlesville High School art students received recognition for their outstanding artwork displayed in Bartlesville's annual Indian Summer Festival's art exhibit held September 15-17, 2017 at the Bartlesville Community Center.

Students won Excellence Awards in the categories of drawing, painting, mixed media, and digital art. The students received cash awards and ribbons for their work. 

This year’s winners include seniors Chandler Henderson and Mae Glock winning Excellence Awards for Mixed Media, Painting, and Digital Art. 

Senior Brigette Bulleigh, junior Christina Guernsey, sophomore Ashlyn Sweat and sophomore Elizabeth Munoz Galvez also won Excellence Awards and Honorable Mention in drawing and painting. 

The winning artwork from these students and others are available for viewing in the display across from the main principal's office on the first floor of the high school. Congratulations to all the winners!
