Renee Arnold - Math and Language Arts (6th Grade)

Personal:  Mrs. Arnold had the opportunity to be part of a pilot program placing STEM teachers in the workplace at P66 Research Center this summer.  She saw and learned a lot of really cool things working with the Air Sustainability's group, and will bring a lot of new things to her classroom this fall.  She grew up in Kansas City, and has taught from Kindergarten through Middle School.  She is married to Jeff and has three daughters, Kaitlyn, Nicole and Janelle.  The four of them take all her time and are the joy of her life.

Angela Babb-Reinsager - Math and Language Arts (7th Grade)

Personal:  I live a Cinderella life with Prince Charming, my husband Mark Reinsager, as a competitive ballroom dancer.  Someday we might be good enough to be national champions.  I graduated from Northeastern State University while raising my 5 children.  My first husband passed away in 2008 due to an extended illness.  Between Mark and I, we have 7 kids (not including their spouses) and 3 grandchildren and are enjoying the life style of empty nesters.  We spend our time entertaining family and friends, dancing, dancing practice and lessons and traveling when we are not working.  

Amber Burrows - Severe and Profound

Personal:  Ms. Burrows is the proud aunt of two amazing nephews and will be adding a niece to the group in October.  She enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family.  Ms. Burrows works with high school girls on Wednesday evenings in a program called “Switch”, and she looks forward to going to music and sports events that her ladies participate in.  She also loves performing in music and theater activities.

Janna Griffin - English Language Learners

Personal:  Mrs. Griffin grew up in Ponca City, Ok. She received her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University. She is married to Jim, and has 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren. She has taught in Bartlesville schools for 10 years. This is her first year to teach at Madison. She is enjoying her new position as ELL teacher.

Jana Higgs - Math and Language Arts (8th Grade)

Personal:  Mrs. Higgs has been married to her husband, Andy, for 25 years.  They have 4 kids - Ryan (20) is in the Navy stationed at Jacksonville NAS;  Josh (18) is attending NSU Tahlequah in the fall & studying theater; Paul is a 9th grader at BHS; and Ella is a 7th grader at Central.  Mrs. Higgs was full time stay home mom for 15 years and prior to that was a corporate trainer for Marketing Specialists Corporation.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, hanging out with family, fishing and being on the water.
