We are less than two weeks from the third annual Hands On, Minds On Bartlesville Math and Science Night on Monday, November 5 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Madison Middle School. The event is open to all area students in grades 6-8 and their parents.

Recently the administrators at Central and Madison joined those from Dewey and Nowata in showing their enthusiasm for earning the participation trophy this year.

Last year more than 700 area students, including over 500 from Central and Madison, participated in the event's hands-on stations and demonstrations about the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields of study as well as career options in the energy industry.

The event will again be sponsored by ConocoPhillips, the Oklahoma State University AAPG student chapter, and the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, with support from Truity Credit Union. Pizza and door prizes will again be featured!
