Winter Wood, a senior at Bartlesville High School, has been named one of four East All-State Athletic Training Student Aides by the Oklahoma Coaches Association. Eight trainers statewide were selected for the All-State team, four from the East and four from the West division.

Wood's work as a student trainer has made her a familiar figure at many athletic events, assisting the high school's athletic trainer, Alan Mount, in providing medical aid and assisting in keeping Bruin athletes healthy and happy. In his article about the honor, Mike Tupa of the Examiner-Enterprise reported that Wood plans on pursuing athletic training in college, and shared that All-State Aides can serve in the All-State games on July 22-27 in the Tulsa area if they work the entire All-State camps for several sports.
