Save time and money at registration

Parents can save time and money at registration on August 5-8, 2019 by paying for optional Chromebook insurance in advance. Parents of incoming freshmen are also urged to complete required Chromebook paperwork in advance and to be present with their child at registration.

Every student in regular education must check out and use a take-home Chromebook, while the self-contained special education and Bruin Academy programs provide computing devices in their classrooms.

SAVE MONEY & TIME BY PURCHASING OPTIONAL INSURANCE NOW
Parents can opt to purchase annual insurance on a student's Chromebook which provides full coverage against damage or loss on a first incident and half-coverage on a second incident. Otherwise, parents assume the obligation of all repair and replacement costs due to damage or loss.

For returning BHS sophomores, juniors, and seniors, any existing insurance purchased in 2018-19 will remain in force up to the first day of school but then expires.
FRESHMAN PARENTS & PARENTS OF NEW STUDENTS:
SAVE TIME BY COMPLETING CHROMEBOOK PAPERWORK NOW
For incoming freshmen and any other students new to the school, a parent and the student must complete two forms. If they can download and fill out the forms in advance, that will speed up registration.
