Monday, April 3rd through Thursday, April 13, 2017, Bartlesville High School student Cassie Harding will be holding a food drive to benefit the Agape Mission of Bartlesville's "Food 4 Kids" program. The program fills sacks of food to send home for over 600 children in need each Friday.

Cassie Harding was recently crowned Miss Tulsa State Fair's Outstanding Teen on October 9, 2016. As part of her platform, Cassie is hoping to raise awareness about childhood hunger.

As part of the food drive, students in each grade level are asked to bring designated items to their fourth hour class to be collected. The Pom team will be assisting Cassie in delivering and picking up the boxes of food. Each class should bring the following items to donate:
  • Freshman: fruit snacks
  • Sophomores: fruit bars
  • Juniors: fruit cups
  • Seniors: pudding cups
The boxes will be distributed to each classroom after school on Friday, March 31st, and collected after school on Thursday, April 13th. The class per grade that collects the most items will receive a pizza party to be held during their 4th hour.
