DIBELS
The Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) are a set of procedures and measures for assessing the acquisition of early literacy skills from Kindergarten through Grade 6.
Each child in Grades K-2 is administered the DIBELS test in August, January and May. Each subtest is timed for a one minute interval. Results of the tests are sent home to the parents.
Listed below are follow up activities to help your child practice some of the activities if he/she scored Below Benchmark or Well Below Benchmark in any of the areas.
