About Toby Maggert

I was raised in Matlock, Iowa and lived there my whole life until moving to Hull after receiving a job here. My parents, Kip and Annette, remain in Matlock with our dog Jake, a Springer Spaniel. I also have a brother, Jud, who currently works construction. Together we are the entirety of the Maggert Household.

Educational Background:

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in the summer of 2017 with a Math - Teaching major and a minor in Statistics and Actuarial Science. I am also certified in AP Calculus through the Belin-Blank Center in Iowa City. In addition, I am working toward my Computer Science Endorsement over the course of this year.

Teaching Experience:

I finished my second year teaching at Boyden-Hull last year and I am looking forward to another great year.

Current Teaching Assignment:

I am teaching three sections of Algebra 1, and single sections of Pre-Algebra, Advanced Math, Advanced Programming, and Consumer Math. I am also mentoring the online Calculus students.

Other Extra Curricular Duties:

I am also an assistant coach for the BHRV Nighthawks wrestling program. I have also completed my CDL bus training and am a substitute driver.
