Tessa De Wit

My name is Tessa De Wit. I live in Boyden with my husband Ben, and our two children, Eloise and Roman. I also have two dogs (Penny and Jojo) and one cat (PJ). When I have free time, I enjoy going for walks, reading, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with my family.

Educational Background:

I graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. During that time, I also earned endorsements in kindergarten education, as well as reading. In 2018, I took online courses through Northwestern College to earn an endorsement in early childhood education.

Teaching Experience:

I worked as a paraprofessional in the preschool room at Boyden-Hull for 5 years. I started teaching TK and Title 1 reading in the fall of 2019.

Current Teaching Assignment:

I currently teach Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in the morning, 5 days a week. In the afternoon, I teach Title 1 reading. I split my Title reading time between Boyden-Hull elementary and Hull Christian school.
