About Melannie Hofmeyer

My name is Melannie Hofmeyer. I live in near Ashton with my husband, Travis, our son, Burke, and daughter, Wren.

I enjoy spending time with my family. We spend a lot of time outdoors gardening, watching our kiddos play all over our little acreage. I also enjoy reading, some of my favorite series are Harry Potter, Lunar Chronicles, and Hunger Games. I also enjoy being crafty, and like crocheting when I have some down time.

K-6 Physical Education

Educational Background:

Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern College, Orange City, IA.

Teaching Experience:

My first year of teaching was over in North Iowa at Central Springs Community School District where I taught K-12 Talented & Gifted. From 2015-2017 I have taught K-12 Talented & Gifted here at Boyden-Hull. I have been teaching Elementary Physical Education since 2018 and absolutely love it!
