Merging Homework Calendars

These directions will guide you through adding homework calendars to your Google calendar.

1. Do not log into your Google account. (If you don’t have a Google account you can make one at https://accounts.google.com/SignUp.)

2. Access one teacher’s homework calendar on his/her website and at the bottom right corner, click on the “+Google calendar” icon. It will ask if you want to add this calendar. Choose yes, add this calendar. You will be prompted to log into your account now. The calendar should automatically show up on your list of calendars under “Other calendars.” You can rename them if you want (click the triangle and choose calendar settings; change calendar name).

3. Follow step 2 for each of your child’s classes.

4. If you want to see all homework for a given day click on the color box for each subject calendar you want to see (unclick the color box for calendars you do not want to see). If you view the calendar in the agenda view, all of your child’s assignments will be listed.
