Pre-season friendly Match Reports.

Borth United v Bow Street.         Tuesday 14th July 2015.

In front of a large crowd, Borth entertained near neighbours Bow Street in their first pre -season friendly of the 2015/16 season, and though Street took the lead midway through the half, Borth replied with two goals from Ryan Davies, a towering header from Sam Middleton, and a début goal from Jamie Evans to lead 4-1, but two late goals by Street gave them hope for a share of the spoils, but Borth held on for a deserved victory.

Penrhyncoch v Borth United.     Wednesday 22nd July 2015.

In an entertaining match against the team that ended as runner's up in the Spar Mid Wales League 1,and won the Spar League Cup last season, Borth expected a stern test at Cae Baker even for a friendly match, but the lads rose to the occasion with some neat passing in their play and Ryan Davies gave Borth the lead midway through the half, but Jon Evans equalized for Penrhyn from the penalty spot early in the second half, and as Ian rang the changes as the half progressed for the whole squad to have some game time, Ryan Davies scored with a rasping low shot into the bottom corner as full time approached to give Borth the win.
