                             NEW OR 2016 MODEL BACKHOE LOADER

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Town Clerk of the Town of Boonton, Morris County, New Jersey, on Thursday, September 15,2016  at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time at the Boonton Town Hall, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, NJ at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for the purchase of a  Current Model Backhoe Loader.

 Specifications and forms of bids, contract and bond requirements, will be on file at Boonton Town Hall, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, NJ 07005 on  and may be examined at no expense by prospective bidders on September 16, 2016 during business hours.  Bidders, upon request, will be furnished with a copy of the Contract Documents upon proper notice. 

 Bids must be made on the attached Proposal Forms in the manner designated herein and required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the bidder’s name and address and project name on the outside addressed to Town Clerk, Town of Boonton, Morris County, NJ and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, not be less than $500.00, and a consent of surety form from a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey in a sum equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount bid, and be delivered to the Town Hall on or before the hour named above.

 The Contractor will comply with all regulations and orders promulgated by the State Treasurer pursuant to PL 1985, c 127, and with all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. and all rules and regulations promulgated there under, the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference.

 Bidders are required to comply with the current requirements of PL 1975, c. 127 (Affirmative Action) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27; P.L. 1977, c.33 (Disclosure of Ownership); PL 2004, c.57 and N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2 (NJ Business Registration Act); and PL 1999, c.238 and N.J.S.A. 34.11-56-48 (Public Works Contractors Registration Act).

 The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
