TAX COLLECTOR/ASSISTANT TREASURER – BOONTON TOWN (Morris County). Full-time opportunity for an individual that possesses a certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs to perform all statutory duties of Tax Collector.  Responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of municipal collection of property taxes including the preparation and disbursement of tax bills as well as conducting tax sales for taxes, utility and other miscellaneous items.  Additional responsibilities include the filing of the annual veteran/senior citizen report to the County Board of Taxation, the collection and processing of all Water and Sewer bills and assisting the Chief Financial Officer on all matters related to finance. F/T CLERK/POLICE DEPARTMENT – BOONTON TOWN (Morris County). Full-time opportunity for a Keyboarding Clerk to perform routine clerical work, support operations, functions and programs within the Boonton Police Department.  Reporting to the Chief of Police, the ideal candidate will perform administrative, organizational, secretarial, clerical and public relations duties for the Police Department.  Type and process reports, memoranda and correspondence.  Process purchase requisitions, orders, budget documents, payroll and other financial data.  Produce police reports and maintain departmental records. POLICE DISPATCHERS (FULL-TIME & PER DIEM) TOWN OF BOONTON

The dispatcher position is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching police units or other town service personnel, sending and receiving information to various agencies and departments, monitoring radios and cameras, maintaining a database and other duties as necessary.  Requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, innovative thinking and the ability to remain focused under pressure.  All applicants must be able to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.  Position requires a HS diploma or GED certification, a valid NJ driver’s license with an excellent driving record and must pass a criminal background check, medical exam, and drug test. PARKING ENFORCEMENT TRAINEE (PART-TIME) – TOWN OF BOONTON

Immediate position available for up to 25 hrs/wk with flex schedule (Saturdays a must), prorated paid sick and vacation time. No health benefits. Starting salary $15 - $18+ / hour. Work is performed outdoors, in high traffic areas, and is subject to varying weather conditions. Duties require the ability to walk for long periods of time, skill in operating a hand-held enforcement device, and two-way radio. Successful candidate will have daily interaction with the public and therefore must have the ability to effectively communicate in a friendly manner. A positive public image is required. Position requires a HS diploma or GED certification, a valid NJ driver’s license with an excellent driving record and must pass a criminal background check, medical exam, and drug test.
