School closure resources

Dear North families,

We know that the school closure can be a challenging time. We have compiled some local resources for you to review. From local pantries and supports, Counseling resources, and helpful links to discuss the COVID-19 with your students.  We also will include resources to support your students addressing stress, anxiety and worry. If you are looking for a specific Counseling or Mental Health support referral, please contact your grade level Counselor.

Please note that students can still complete work from 3rd quarter, from missing assignments to retaking tests. Student's grade will not be penalized as a result of the school closure. Additionally, the Boise School District is working on a support plan for when students’ return to school.

We will continue to inform you through BSD COVID-19 Information Page of the school’s next steps in supporting students and their families.

Kind regards,

North Counselors,

Ryan Gant - Ryan.Gant@boiseschools.org (7th grade)
Julie Hambleton - Julie.Hambleton@boiseschools.org (8th grade)
Christian Lim -Christian.Lim@boiseschools.org (9th grade)
