26_18_004a. And Now.
Lee House (the nearest tower in the centre of image 26_18_004 above) was demolished and replaced by the imposing 125 London Wall (built, as Alban Gate, between 1988 and 1992). It straddles the road and has killed off any sense of light and space that the 1960's planners ever envisaged.
The building to the left of 125 London Wall (in the upper centre of image 26_18_004a above) is 120 London Wall (built as Bastion House), which was not constructed until ten years after Blowup was filmed. Because of its very similar appearance I thought this was Lee House at first. Whilst researching London Wall images I realised my mistake.
